My maroon 88 Savages paintwork is still in showroom condition, except for a small ding in the tank. I am wondering if some of that car polish which contains colour pigments might help not to sure of the effect that it might have on metallic paint though. Another suggestion is to buy a cover for your bike. I've just bought one for mine to stop my bike from getting covered in pine pollen. A great move -
